项目基地位于“重庆中心”、希尔顿和旧城区的交汇点，这一“敏感”地带对建筑师提出了巨大挑战，怎样让我们的建筑融入旧城区的同时又与未来的城市地标“重庆中心”之间取得平衡、过渡是本项目的关键点。BLUETEAM希望新的建筑以一种谦逊、积极的姿态与“重庆中心”、希尔顿等联合打造两路口地区集娱乐商务办公一体的地区CBD，并与重庆文化宫、重庆体育馆等文体设施完善该地区的功能配套。

基地北侧基于退距的基础上，形成了大片空地，我们的提案期待通过塑造自然景观把现有的旧城、纪念馆和城市核心区联系起来，形成一个新的公园系统，并在其中加入文化、娱乐功能，给在这里工作生活的市民提供了一直缺失的城市机能，为这个超级城市增添一些有温度的人文关怀。
